Jeffery “Tyler” Martin Crouch, 23 of Cookeville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 14, 2020.

Tyler, known to his friends as Ducky, was born on August 20, 1996, in McMinnville, Tennessee to Melisa (Corn) McCollough and Jeffery Crouch. Tyler graduated from Cookeville High School in 2015. He later graduated from cosmetology school at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. He completed an additional program at Mister Wayne’s Barber and Beauty School to pursue barber’s license in 2019.

Tyler was a gentle soul who enjoyed spending hours painting and designing. He was a gifted barber, an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed almost all sports. He strived to help those in need and had a strong desire to make the world a better place. Tyler loved to make others laugh, and often volunteered his time giving haircuts to those in need at homeless shelters. He believed strongly in helping others find ways to feel good about themselves. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and cousin.

Tyler is survived by his parents Melisa and Brad McCollough and Jeffery Crouch; sister Erin Mekkaoui and husband Sam; step-sisters Erin Kirouac and husband Jason; Abby Prichard and husband Curtis; nephew Noah Mekkaoui, and nieces Taylor Kirouac, Brooklyn Kirouac, and Evie Prichard; grandparents William and Nelta Corn and Marvin McCollough; uncles and aunts Steve and Santje Corn, Eva Sue and Bruce Barton, Colleen and Orbin Logan; special cousins Hana Corn, Elijah Corn, and Levi Corn; and numerous friends and loved ones.

Tyler was preceded in death by grandparents Gideon and Arza Crouch and Reba McCollough, and nephew Evan Kirouac.

A celebration of life will be held at Life Church Edge Building in Cookeville on Saturday August 1, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service at LIfe Church Edge Building on Saturday August 1, 2020.

My heart was sadden to read about the the loss of Tyler and wanted to give my warmest condolences to the family. To lose someone so well loved can bring such sadness but the God of all comfort tells us at 2 Kings 20:5 He feels our pain. At we can read in the Bible John 5:28,29 that not only does God care but it will move him to remove all the suffering he sees and gives assurance that you will have him in your life once again. May all the beautiful memories you have give you calm and peace until God’s promises come true. Again so very sorry for your heartache. 💐

To Tyler’s Family,
I can’t tell y’all how shocked & saddened we were on seeing the announcement of Tyler’s untimely death. Tyler entered our lives a few years ago & we can’t remember exactly how.
My husband is 82 & has many health problems. Tyler would come to our house & cut David’s hair & trim his beard. We always had a good visit. When we did go to the shops where he worked he always came to help us in & out. He was one of the most wonderful friends we had & will be missed. Tyler had the gifts of giving, sharing & caring.
