Ronald Thomas Allan, 76 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019, in the late afternoon, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born Thursday, January 14, 1943, in Pawtucket (Providence), Rhode Island. He was the son of the late Hugh and Irene (Messier), Allan.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Sharon Elizabeth (Dickson) Allan, a Granddaughter: Alyson Marie Allan of Cookeville, TN, Sister: Millie Harshman of Murrieta, CA, and her family, and numerous Cousins living in Rhode Island.

He served in the U.S. Army in the early 1960s, stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas and was an expert rifleman. Soon after coming home to his birth state of RI, he married Alice Helen Allan, they had three sons, Michael Allan of Cookeville, TN, David Allan and Brian Allan of Pasco Co. FL.

He was a carpenter, loved bowling, racing Nascar cars, doing leather work and in his later years, walking his 11 year old Maltese, "Popcorn at Dogwood Park in Cookeville, they were also seen at Kroger's, with "Popcorn" sitting in his own small cart and getting plenty attention from the local's.

His life ended suddenly and unexpected. He will be missed in our Living Life's, but always will be Loved in our memory, thoughts, and prayers.

His Interment will be in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
