Obituary

Pamela Sue Capps, 75 of Silver Point, Tennessee passed peacefully from this life Friday, January 24, 2020, at her home in Silver Point.

She was born Saturday, January 13, 1945, in Oakland, California. She was the daughter of the late Mary Matthews  Palk.

Ms. Capps was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and friend to all who knew her, and will be remembered for her decades as owner and operator of The Rose Garden Restaurant in Silver Point, TN.  

Sue is survived by:

1 Daughter and Son-in-law:
Jennifer and Chad Lafever of Baxter, TN

1 Son and Daughter-in-law:
Jeff and Jennifer Capps of Silver Point, TN

5 Grandchildren:
Tiffany Burroughs, Taylor Dyer, Hunter Williams, Blake, and Savannah Lafever

3 Great Grandchildren:
Jackson West, Twin Great Granddaughters, Maddie, and Harper Dyer

1 Brother and Sister-in-law:
David and Michelle Bethel of Knoxville, TN

2 Nieces:
Lisa Lunsford, and Wendi Brown

1 Nephew:
Kelo Whitmire

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Capps, 1 Son: Brent Williams, 1 Brother: Doug Whitmire

Funeral services for Sue will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2020, beginning at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Leftwich officiating. Interment will follow in Double Springs Cemetery in Cookeville, TN.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, January 27, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and again on Tuesday, January 28, from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 noon.
