To Mary, Julia,Norma,Margret, and Delilah,
We ( the Ray Roth ) family express our deepest sympathy to you and your families. Our friendship started in the summer
of 1957 when Danny came to be at our home for 2 weeks. Dad ask me to go with him at 2:00 in the morning to the train
depot near Washington. It was out in the country. Danny was 5 years old and was sleeping on a bench in the back of the train
car. I will never forget the sight of my dad stepping down out of that car with Danny still sleeping in his arms. Frank and
Maria and my parents were not together often, but when they were it was a blessing. Your Mother was such a giving person.
If you girls only knew how my Wife JoAnn appreciates the tall cactus we brought home the last time we were there.
Now our Mom's and Dad's are in the promised land in their heavenly bodies visiting. WOW ! Great !
Even though there not with us we have many memories. I would give anything to have a dish of Homemade Ice Cream
with dad again. Mom's home made apple pie!!!
Anyway you girls & guys were so good to your parents and all stuck together so well. I remember the times visiting the
mission in Chicago. I hope some day we can see you all again. Good to be with Mary the past few winters.
Blessings to you and the family.
