J R, even in his sick times always thought about others and would try to help them if they needed it. He was such a good man! Putnam County lost a good man and the Sheriff's Office lost a great officer who will always be remembered.

JR was a great friend, one that I respected as a law officer and a person. He gave me so much good advice over the years and I took to heart every word. He was my hero. I will miss him until I see him again. To his family, I pray that God will comfort you and give you strength, it wont be easy but take comfort in knowing he is with our Lord and now many of his family and friends that left before him.
