Obituary

Glenda Kay Elrod, age 73 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life  Monday, February 3, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born Saturday, January 4, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Sherman and Estelle (Henry) McCloud.

Kay was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend to all who knew her. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Kay is survived by her Husband: Cordell Elrod of Cookeville, TN

1 Son and Daughter-in-law:
Jason and Amy Elrod of Murfreesboro, TN

2 Grandchildren:
Ethan and Macy Elrod of Murfreesboro, TN

1 Sister and Brother-in-law:
Faye and David Leftwich of Elizabethtown, KY

1 Brother and Sister-in-law:
Terry and Joan McCloud of Cookeville, TN

Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Scott Wayne McCloud.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Funeral services for Kay will be held Friday, February 7. 2020 beginning at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, February 6, 2020, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
