Elizabeth "Liz" Louise (Jackson) Gardner, 77 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Liz was born Thursday, May 7, 1942, in Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Felton Jackson and the late Bertha Mae (Booth) Jackson.

Liz was a loving, caring, strong-willed, determined mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was always there when anyone needed her. Liz was always independent until she could no longer be.

Liz is survived by:

2 Daughters: Sherri Enfinger and Partner David McWhorter
Mary and Steve Mitchell

Son: Michael Rewis

3 Grandchildren: Heather and JR Weatherholtz, Jason Hutchison, and David Enfinger

6 Great-Grandchildren: Josh Weatherholtz, Justin Weatherholtz, Megan Weatherholtz, Kelsey Bender, Ethan Wilmoth, and Aubrey Hutchison

Great-Great-Grandson: Knox Weatherholtz

A host of nieces, nephews, and special friends

In addition to her parents, Liz was preceded in death by Husband, Edward Gardner; Sister, Mary Moore, and Brother, Jerry Jackson.

Funeral Service for Elizabeth "Liz" Louise (Jackson) Gardner will be held Monday, May 20, 2019, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until time of service on Monday, May 20, 2019, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
