Earl Charles, 80 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on at his home surrounded by his family.

Earl was born Friday, August 11, 1939, in Pike County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Earl Thomas and the late Eunice Lillian (Coleman) Charles.
Earl was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a founding member of the Cookeville Life Church.
Earl is survived by, wife, JoAnn (Johnson) Charles, 3 Daughters, Peggy and Bubba Ward of Ft. Pierce, Florida, Carolyn and Bruce Potter of Ft. Pierce, Florida, and Tracy and Marc Pendel of Cookeville, Tennessee; 10 Grandchildren; 21 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Janet Crane of Norfolk, Virginia, and Linda Cook of Cookeville, Tennessee; 2 Brothers, Gary Charles of Hastings ,Michigan and Roger Charles of Charlotte, North Carolina; Brother-in-life, Dave Beam of Cookeville, Tennessee.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents.
Earl chose cremation, the family followed his wishes, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
