Obituary

Darrell Lee Myers, 33 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at his home.

Darrell was born Monday, January 26, 1987, in Cookeville, Tennessee, he was the son of Carolyn (Myers) Bennett.

Darrell was known for charity work, impacting several people's lives in the Gay community. He was in numerous music videos, helped create the song 10's & 20's with Raquel Redd, and was in the movie Boulevard with Robin Williams. Darrell was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend. He loved animals, which he could be found donating his time at the Nashville Humane Society. He had an infectious smile and loved to make anyone around him laugh. Darrell never met a stranger, he was loved by everyone that knew him, and he will be greatly missed.

Darrell is survived by, Mother Carolyn Bennett; Maternal Grandmother, Betty Myers; Brother, Michael and Jennifer Myers; Nieces and Nephews, Lexi Cooper, Lenae, Payton, and Kaylei Myers; Beloved Pets, CoCo and Kujo; Uncles, Tony McCloud, Jimmy Myers, and Billy and Georgia Goney; Aunts, Lisa Shobe and Kathy Myers; Great-Uncles, Ronnie and Lisa Spivey, Donnie Spivey, and Bob Spivey; Great- Aunt, Sue and Larry Sharp, and Ann and Richard Vicroy;

Darrell was preceded in death by, The Only Father He Knew, Floyd "Buster" Smith; Great-Grandmother, Aline Spivey; Uncle, Ivan Myers; and Cousin, Roger Myers.

Darrell chose cremation, the family honored his wishes, and a celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 3:00 pm from the house of his Aunt Lisa.
