Christine Peek, age 90 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Sunday, April 26, 2020, at Signature Health Care of Putnam County.

She was born Tuesday, April 1, 1930, in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Clay and Bessie (Pippin), Carlisle.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a long time member of the Pippin Church of Christ.

Christine is survived by:

1 Daughter:
Debbie Swallows of Cookeville, TN

1 Son:
Phil Peek of Cookeville, TN

4 Grandchildren:
Adam (Amy) Swallows, Matthew Swallows, Jennifer Russell, and Hayley Peek

7 Great Grandchildren:
Caleb, Conner, Carlee, Levi, and Randi Swallows and Autumn and Evelyn Russell

A host of Nieces and Nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Dennis Peek, 2 Brothers: Danny and David Carlisle, 2 Sisters: Opal Pack and Sue Thompson, and 1 Son-in-law: Randal Swallows.

The family would like to thank the kind staff at Signature HealthCare for their devoted care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or a Children's Hospital.

A Private Family Graveside service for Christine will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Randy Bybee officiating. Interment will follow.
