I've known Cecil and Gene for many years and they have been dear friends. They were active in First Baptist Church in Inverness, FL and we were all very sorry to see them leave us for Cookeville. Cecil was a wonderful man, kind and compassionate, very caring but quiet about it. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. My heart, love and prayers are with Gene and the family. Cecil is with his Lord and is well and happy.

Only spending a short time with Cecil in helping to take care of him was enough to know what a special man, kind and endearing he was. The comb in his pocket for that full head of hair he had! John 5:28, 29...Rev. 21:4...hope of seeing him again and no more pain or suffering, no more death! My thoughts are with his family as they find comfort in the hope and until then then the wonderful memories of him...

My sincere condolences to the Jernigan Family. I served with CMSGT Jernigan in Evereau, France
in the early 1960's. I enjoyed working with/for him. I remember him as a very dedicated person.
