Champ has been our neighbor for the last few years. I really enjoyed my visits with Champ and he was very personable. We would talk about lots of things sitting on his steps. Our past work experiences, fixing things and basically just some good conversations. He would grow really nice tomatoes and would always make sure to share them with us! Champ would see me working in the yard and would stop to see if I needed any help. He was always quick with a story and a good sense of humor. He observed some carpenter bees boring in my wooden fence and immediately let me know to include what I needed to spray my fence with to stop 'em. He was that kinda neighbor and you could count on him to help in any way. We will miss his honk and wave when he would drive by when we were outside.
